I was just out for a bike ride and wanted to see the big waves from the high surf advisory which is in effect until tomorrow on Labor Day. There are many who are visiting Huntington Beach today and enjoying the warm air temperature and water temperature. There are occasional sets which are high, but when I was out, the waves were not that large, however there appeared to be a strong current. Lifeguards were definitely at attention with the number of visitors at the beach.
There were lots of people enjoying the beach in Huntington Beach.
In the distance I could see smoke and as it turns out there is a fire in the Glendora/Azusa area. Hope that gets contained quickly.
I hope you all are enjoying your Labor Day weekend.
I rode my bike to the NB Pier yesterday and it was pretty blown out . . . I would have liked to see them that big.
