Happy Easter to Everyone!
This past Easter my Mom, sister, and I did what we do every year. In the morning we start off with an Easter breakfast made by my mom and an Easter egg hunt.
The Easter egg hunt is always a very competition between my sister and me. this year, I was prepared. I was ready to face her. We both got the go and ran downstairs to go and solve the puzzle of the hidden Easter eggs. My Mom always gets joy out of hiding the eggs. She hides them in the most ridiculous places. Like the hardest places. Even now (a few weeks after Easter) we are still finding the eggs. This year, we finally convinced her to put money in them. So I wanted to do well. I was mobbing. I was getting egg after egg and I had already covered the whole living room and the deck while my sister was still working on the kitchen. Amateur. Muahah. By the time we finished our baskets were overflowing with eggs. We counted out our money and I was feeling confident. BOOM I WON. I got more money than my sister did while all she really got was jelly beans which we just put back in the bowl on the counter when we were finished emptying all the eggs. It was truly a triumphant and memorable year in our home.
Then for dinner, my Mom made an amazing dinner as usual. It was good to spend it with the family. I love them all very much and am so blessed to have them. You don’t get to pick your family, but I guess I got lucky.
Competition with family members is always fun. I’m sure your sister wanted a rematch.
There will be one tomorrow morning . . .and the girls love it because they end up with some cash!!!! Happy Easter Larry!
So the egg hunt was a success and I should have taken a photo with the eggs with the money inside . . . had a wonderful day with my girls!
