The food, the view, the people, all add to the beautiful atmosphere of the Blue Water Grill in Newport Beach.
The food? Where to begin? It varies anywhere from cheeseburgers to the finest lobster in the city. My favorite is the steamed clams, the lobster tail. When I was younger, I got 6 steamed clams… they’re just that good. To drink, the finest wine, or the best soda you’ve ever had. All for a generally good price.
The people. It is a very family generated restaurant. It’s fun to play the mazes on the coloring sheets with brothers/sisters or to just enjoy the fine atmosphere. The waiters/waitresses are all very sweet. Today (Father’s day) we had a 10 minute conversation with our waiter about cameras and Europe! His great attitude assured our return to the restaurant.
The view. The view is beyond stunning. Not only do you get the beautiful yachts/duffys, but you get the bay, a sunset, and the Cannery Restaurant. You dine in beauty at sunset, when the sun just hits the water in such a manner, you feel as if you’re in heaven.
I highly recommend the Blue Water Grill for your next family meal.
