Peninsula Point in Newport Beach – Market Update
Balboa Peninsula Point in Newport Beach is a highly sought after community. It truly represents the beach lifestyle. Balboa Peninsula Point encompasses the homes from A Street to the end of the Balboa Peninsula. There are bay front homes, interior homes and there are ocean front homes as well. It is a very desirable area in Newport Beach.
Many of the homes are original, however many have also been updated. It is a beautiful community. Peninsula Point in Newport Beach is also home to the infamous “Wedge”. Located at the end of the Point, the jetty (at the entrance of Newport Harbor) is well known for the large surf that comes several times per year. The photo below was from a couple of years ago when the surf exceeded 20 feet. It can be incredibly dangerous for someone who is not experienced. When the waves are this large, visitors flock to watch, as it is truly a show!
Balboa Peninsula Point also has a community association which is voluntary to join. The association does host events throughout the year including an Easter egg hunt and a Fourth of July parade.
The homes in Balboa Peninsula Point are beautiful. Walk to the beach, ride your bike on the Peninsula, enjoy the beach lifestyle in this coveted area.
