A Big Thank You for Your Support With the Race for the Cure
Yesterday was the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. What an amazing event, and what amazing people. This was my second Race for the Cure, and look forward to participating in many more. We had a spectacular team!
There were over 30,000 people at this event. There were two runs, one at 7:35 am and another at 9:45 am. There was a survivor ceremony at 9:00 for both sets and there was not a dry eye in the house. And Nancy G. Brinker who is the founder of the Susan G. Komen foundation, spoke at the OC Race for the Cure.
Our team – “I Love My Lady Lumps” participated in the 7:35 am walk/run. We had over 50 people on our team (some joined after online registration closed). I want to personally THANK everyone for participating and for helping to support the team. We had matching I Love My Lady Lumps shirts.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL! Your support and contribution are amazing, and please know it is so appreciated. Thank you, Will, for creating our artwork for our tee shirts.
ANOTHER THANK YOU for ALL WHO SUPPORTED THE CAUSE BY DONATING.
AND THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS: Prudential California Realty, Pickford Escrow, CrossFit Fly, Endeavor School of the Arts and Newport Beach Independent. You are amazing, and it is so appreciated.
This Race for the Cure is for a great cause, as it raises money for breast cancer. And the national average is that one in eight women will be diagnosed with it, and in Orange County California, the average is one in seven women. We are the Cure!
There is still time to donate for the cause.
Attached is my personal webpage for the Race for the Cure.
If I can answer any questions about this amazing event, please let me know.
Also, a huge Happy Birthday to Patty – it was her birthday yesterday!
