The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach begins on April 17, 2015.This is the 41st Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The Long Beach Grand Prix is an open-wheel race which is held on the streets in Long Beach. Christopher Pook is the original founder of the Long Beach Grand Prix. The event started as a Formula event in 1975, and then became a CART/Champ Car from 1984 to 2008. In May 2008, the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach signed a long-term agreement with INDYCAR. This Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is the single largest event in Long Beach with attendance in the 200,000 range.

Tickets are available on the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach website, and prices start at $52 for a one day admission and all the way up to a pit pass called the Tudor Pit Lane Club at $915. The pit pass is a way to get up close and enjoy the excitement and view the cars. The drivers are talented.
