Surfing is very popular, even this time of year. It is not uncommon to see many surfers out in front (off Orange Street) taking advantage of fewer surfers and enjoying where they live.

One incredible benefit of living here is the sunsets. There is nothing like them. I took these two photos from the last two nights here, and the reflections are spectacular. It is funny to see all your neighbors coming out on their decks this time of night to take photos!!

Balboa Island is a highly coveted area of Newport Beach. Balboa Island in Newport Beach consists of  three islands in Newport Beach and the islands include the main island, the little island and Collins Island. Collins Island in Newport Beach is a gated community and has only 8 homes located on it, and these homes on Collins Island have incredible views of Newport Harbor.  Buyers move to Balboa Island because of the lifestyle. Balboa Island has unique charm, with close proximity to upscale shopping and dining in Newport Beach. And take the ferry across to the Balboa Peninsula to visit the beach.

Enjoy the charm of Balboa Island, and Marine Ave does have upscale dining and unique boutiques. It is most definitely a destination point, and most visiting Newport Beach do visit Balboa Island. This is what I love about Newport Beach, as the areas are really quite diverse.
