The Castaways is a gated community located in Newport Beach. It is a guard gated community. The Castaways is bordered by Dover Drive in Newport Beach. The Castaways has 119 homes, and they were originally built in 1997 and 1998 by Taylor Woodrow. The homes in the Castaways that are located on the front row have sweeping views of the back bay, Newport Harbor and the ocean. The Castaways is a highly sought after community.
The Castaways has Cape Cod Style architecture. Many of the homes do have three car garages. It is a very charming community. The children who reside in the Castaways attend Mariners Elementary School, Ensign Middle School and Newport Harbor High School. Both Ensign and Newport Harbor are very close proximity to the Castaways.

Jasmine Creek in Corona del Mar is a gated community located in Corona del Mar. Originally built by M.J. Brock and designed by Architect Walter J. Richardson in the early 1970’s. Jasmine Creek was originally planned to have 379 homes, however, it was downsized to 324 home sites.

Cameo Shores is located in Corona del Mar, and is a highly sought after community. With the terraced homes, and sweeping ocean views, Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar is a beautiful community. Cameo Shores is located on the ocean side of Coast Highway and has approximately 170 home sites. The homes in Cameo Shores are all terraced to maximize the view overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Trovare in Newport Coast was built during the time period from from 1994 to 1996. Some of the homes have ocean views, and city lights view. Trovare has a private pool, spa, and fireplace for community gatherings. Also, Trovare has private tennis courts for the use of the residents of Trovare.

Trovare is located in a gated community and does have a private pool and spa area for the residents of Trovare.

Balboa Coves is a gated community located off Coast Highway in Newport Beach. The homes in Balboa Coves are located on the bay, and one of the coves in Balboa Coves also has a sand beach.
Balboa Coves is located on the inside of Newport Boulevard, and although there are boats that are in Balboa Coves, the bridge is not high enough to allow a sailboat with a mast to pass under it. So most of the boats are either Duffy’s or power boats.

Balboa Coves in Newport Beach is a desirable area, and it really is a beautiful community. Walking distance to an excellent Thai restaurant, – the Royal Thai Cuisine. Also, residing in Balboa Coves is very close to other upscale dining in Newport Beach, and about three miles from Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

There is a home owner’s association in Balboa Coves and it can range from $125 to $185 per month (per the SoCalMLS).
There are 68 single family detached homes in the Balboa Coves community. Currently, there are five active listings on the market ranging in price from $2,045,000 to $3,350,000.
