The Cape Cod style homes located in the Castaways homes in Newport Beach have beautiful design and architecture. The school district for the residents of the Castaways is Newport Mesa Unified School disrict, and th schools are: Mariners Elementary School (which is a highly coveted school), Ensign Middle School and Newport Harbor High School. Ensign Middle School and Newport Harbor High School are located in very close proximity to the Castaways in Newport Beach.

There are four active listings in the Castaways in Newport Beach, and two in back up status which is a short sale, and there were no sales in the month of April, 2012.

The Castaways is a beautiful Newport Beach gated community. The homes are on the front row have ocean and bay views.

The absorption rate remains low on the Castaways in Newport Beach. Homes are selling with a two month absorption rate.

The average sales price for the homes sold is $1,845,000 with the price per square foot of $479.85.
