Newport Shores Market Update 3.1.2010 – 6.14.2010
Newport Shores is a community of approximately 440 homes located on the west side of Newport Beach. With a community club house, tennis court, basketball court, and heated pool, Newport Shores is a desirable community. Newport Shores has become more affordable with the decline in home values, and now it is possible to obtain a single family residence in Newport Shores at a very reasonable price.
Currently, there are 10 active listings on the market ranging in price from $739,000 to $1,349,000. Three of these properties are short sales. There are four in back up/pending status ranging in price from $650,000 to $1,350,000. One of these pending properties is an REO and the other at 3 Canal Circle is a short sale. There have been three sales since March 1, 2010 ranging in price from $650,000 to $775,000.
